Tắt Quảng Cáo [X] Đăng Nhập để ẩn Tất Cả Quảng Cáo My coinbase wallet was hacked on December 2nd and my coins were taken. I called them on the 2nd and had them put a freeze on my regular coinbase account too in order to prevent anyone from taking those coins too. The only way to correspond with them is via email. I sent my first email to them which was two pages detailing exactly what happened on my end with the hack. The next day I recieved an email back saying that they are merging my two cases together since both of my emails are dealing with the same incident. I had only written them one in regards to this so this is when the first red flag went off in my head that nothing was going to get done… The email told me that they were working hard on the case and would get back to me soon. After a couple days went by I decided to call coinbase and I did so every 2 days. The person on the other end would tell me every day that this was out of their scope and the only way to deal with it was by email but that they made a note in my case that I called and that they expedited it for me. This happened 6 times until on the 12th day after sending the original email I finally heard beach from my case specialist… When I read the email my jaw hit the ground in disgust. The negligence it showed was truly mind blowing… All the email was was another generic copy a pasted email that they must send to everyone who has a fraud case. It asked me a bunch of questions which were all answered in my original email to them 12 days prior to this email. For example they asked me what time were the unauthorized funds sent our do the account, how much money did it equate to and what my account number was. All the answers to their questions were in my original email that I had sent them. Sooooo what were they “working hard” on for 12 days? Because it certainly wasn’t my case… The fact that a 65 billion dollar market cap company like Coinbase can’t have an actual human being look into this and reply back to me in a timely manner with an email that wasn’t generated by a computer is really eye opening… I mean I don’t even have a tech background and yet I still was able to track down the wallet address that my funds were sent to and take a screenshot of my coins still sitting in this persons wallet. This screenshot was part of my original extremely descriptive email that I sent coinbase… I have withdrawn all of my funds out of coinbase and would recommend anyone else who is dealing with them do they same. The pictures attached are of the screenshot I sent them of my coins sitting in the hackers wallet and a picture of the transaction that was unauthorized out of my coinbase wallet.
